Meet the cheetahs

Tiramisu Tiramisu

Tiramisu

Tiramisu was one of the famous litter of six cubs belonging to Cocoa. As well as Tiramisu, this litter comprised her two sisters Profiterole and Eclair, and her brothers Ben, Jerry and Haagendaz. She was born at the end of 1998, and hence Tiramisu is twelve years old. She is one of the only cheetahs that can be recognised on sight as she has a large scar on her right side. Despite their promising heritage Tiramisu is the only one of the three sisters that has produced surviving cubs. Her first surviving cub was a female born in March 2003, becoming independent in 2004. In 2006, she raised another female to independence known to us as Pannacotta. In 2008 she did it again and raised two more cubs to independence - this time a male, Crumble, and a female, Strudel.  Tiramisu is often seen in the Makoma area during the dry season, but can be found as far as Barafu in the wet season.

Tiramisu was last seen in August 2010.
