Meet the cheetahs

Emily

Emily was first seen as a tiny cub in December 2004 with her mother Loopy Lou.  She is the sister of Kate. Emily was a little slower than Kate as far as raising cubs was concerned but she introduced us to her first litter of 4 cubs in January 2009. Two of the cubs didn’t make it, but the two survivors were last seen in December 2009 and should now have reached independence.  Emily can be seen throughout the year in the Ndutu area, often she is found around the Makao road, or more towards the Caracal plateau/Kusini area.

Emily was last seen in June 2010.
