Meet the cheetahs
Ties & Erris
Ties & Erris were first seen with their mother Almond in mid 2006 when they were only about 3 months old. The boys who are now about 3 ½ years old, used to be seen around Makoma hill, scent marking. However since the wet season of 2009 started they have dropped off the radar. Erris was found in August 2009 close to Downy’s Dam without his brother. He was suffering from mange, which is often an indication of stress. Depending on how long ago Erris lost his brother, it is not surprising that he should suffer from stress at the moment.
Ties was last seen in December 2008.
Erris was last seen in July 2010.
