Meet the cheetahs
Muscat
Muscat was first seen at the end of 2004, from a one cub litter of Amarula. She had her first litter of 4 cubs in August 2007 of which 2 have been raised to independence and are now known as Grenache and Sauternes. During the dry season Muscat is often seen around 5 hills, Girtasha river and Simba kopjes. In the wet season she tends to move south east to Gol Kopjes and beyond. Thanks to a contribution to the Cheetah Watch campaign, Muscat was seen in the area of the Ngorongoro Crater, which shows that cheetahs are able to travel large distances.
Muscat was last seen in April 2010.
