Meet the cheetahs
Hamisi & Marando
Hamisi and Marando are two males who showed up into the Ndutu area in 2005. As we were not introduced to them whilst they were still with their mother we are not sure if they are brothers, or if they are two unrelated males who formed a coalition. As one of the boys (Marando) looks younger than the other, the latter is a possibility. The two boys held a territory between the big Marsh and two trees in the Ndutu area. The boys were named after Hamisi and Marando, the two guides who work for Ndutu Safari Lodge and have proved to be excellent at spotting cheetahs!
Hamisi was last seen in Apil 2008.
Marando was last seen in April 2008.
