Almond

Almond

Almond was born in late 2003 into the Nut family. Almond has proved to be a very good mother. In her first litter she raised 2 male cubs to independence, known to us as Ties and Erris, who can often be seen in the Oldonyo Rongai / Makoma area. In late 2008 Almond was first seen with her second litter, 2 female cubs who in the past have been known to be car jumpers and will often climb onto the bonnet of cars to get a better look at things. The sisters have now reached independence and have been named Butternut and Coconut.  Almond can be seen in the Cub valley, Gol Kopjes area for most of the year.

Almond was last seen in August 2010.
