Tanzania Carnivores

Kate is the daughter of Loopy Lou, and was first introduced to us in December 2004 together with her sister Emily. Kate was very young when she had a first litter of three female cubs. Eventually she only had to look after 2 cubs as the third one was adopted by her mother. She was able to raise both cubs to independence, and one of them has been seen around the Kusini area with cubs of her own.  Kate is often seen in the Ndutu area during the wet season as moves to Kusini in the dry season.

Kate was last seen in June 2010.
